Lonn Holiday
For more than twenty years I have been thinking about what happens when digital systems stop being destinations we constantly retreat into and start becoming part of ordinary life.

I do not think people want to disappear into virtual worlds wearing giant headsets. I think people still want to go to dinner, walk through cities, travel, work, meet friends, and have ordinary conversations.
What is changing is the way information will move through those experiences.
Right now every question, message, map, reservation, article, or shared photograph interrupts the moment because someone has to stop and pull out a phone. That feels normal today because we are used to it. I do not think it will feel normal forever.
Eventually people will simply carry their digital space with them.
The hardware does not exist yet, at least not in a form people will comfortably wear all day. But eventually it will. When it does, digital systems will stop feeling like separate places we visit and start feeling more like part of the environment around us.This is where Elonn will fit in.

Elonn is built around the idea that digital space will eventually become part of the physical world around us instead of something trapped inside phones and isolated apps.
I envision people sitting together in a restaurant having ordinary conversations while information moves naturally between them. Someone checks an assertion, looks something up, shares directions, passes an article across the table, or leaves information attached to a place the same way people already leave physical objects in the world around them.
A street, a restaurant, a train station, or a gathering space can contain information connected to the environment around you. At the same time, your own personal space moves with you containing the tools, conversations, media, and information you use every day.
You still live in the real world. The digital layer simply exists alongside it.
The “Actually” Social Network
Elonara helps people gather, communicate, organize events, maintain friendships, and participate in real communities both online and in the physical world. The goal is not maximizing screen time. The goal is helping people maintain meaningful human relationships without reducing social life to engagement metrics and advertising inventory.
